Company Profile

The sole-proprietorship company “Docho Kovachev” was established in 1994 as one of pioneers in the nonwoven production sector. Due to the fast technological update of its products the company in short time succeeded to deserve the trust of numerous well-positioned wadding consumers. Our products have found vast application area mainly in the production of upholstered furniture, mattresses, quilts, mattress ticks, pillows, ready-to-wear clothes and work garments.

History

1994 – Establishment of sole-proprietorship company “Docho Kovachev” with the main purpose of production of nonwoven textile - wadding.
1995 – Fixture of first production line in the village of Terzijsko.
1998 – Enlargement of production in the village of Shipkovo, fixture of second production line.
2000 – Commissioning of third wadding production line.
2003 – Fixture of silicone filling production line.
2004 – Purchase of new production buildings and start of fixture of a new modern production line scheduled for commissioning in 2005.
Currently all activities of the companies is centered in the village of Shipkovo, Troyan Municipality.

Technology

Since its establishment in 1994 the company has functioned only as a producer of volume-bonding nonwoven textile (wadding).
Since 1998 the company has specialised its activities in the wadding production with the use of thermobonding technology of low melting fibers. The wadding produced under this modern technology is characterized with excellent exploitation properties.

Advantages of the method:
- non-allergic product (there is not liberation of latex micro-particles, as it is at wadding produced under latex-bonding technology)
- ecologically pure product (no chemicals used)
- wadding of excellent strength in full volume

Technological equipment

The company “Docho Kovachev” used the following equipment for the production of nonwoven textile:
- opening and blending: “BEFAMA” and "POLMATEX" - Poland
- carding machines: “BEFAMA”- Poland, “TEXTIMA” and “HARTMAN” – Germany
- cross lappers: “COSMATEX” – Italy, etc.
